The FooJohn Building is a unique restaurant where 3 offerings, 3 interiors, and 3 atmospheres coexist in a renovated 1960's post modernist building, a great place to experience the charm of Old Town and the Creative District.
When making a reservation please specify the floor you would like to be seated on:
- The 1st floor is our bistro, Fou de Joie, an authentic French bistro that serves crepes, wine and charcuterie.
- The 2nd floor is our jazz club, with live jazz every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from 9pm and can be booked here: Foo de Jazz.
- The 3rd floor and both rooftops are SpareParts Smokehouse, serving authentic Texas smoked BBQ, draught beer and bourbon drinks.
Parking is available at the temple across the street from the FooJohn Building. Alternatively, you can also park on Charoenkrung Road.

Step inside this old shop-house and you're transported to a retro Hong Kong diner like something out of In the Mood for Love—think warm lighting, carefully positioned mirrors, vintage mosaic tiles. Downstairs you'll find a hip bistro serving cold cuts and crepes alongside wine. A prohibition era-themed cocktail bar sits upstairs, where French spirits are spotlighted in classic cocktails based on The Savoy Cocktail Book (first published back in 1930).Read full review on BK
